Imperial Laoshan Green Tea of Shandong

A uniquely flavorful tea, this is grown in Laoshan Village in Shandong Province by a family of tea growers. It was harvested in the first flush of spring 2024, with only the "tippiest" leaves selected. 

The leaves are very small and tightly rolled, harvested in the first flush of spring. It does well with short infusions, and yields a potent sweet/nutty umami flavor that lingers in the mouth long after drinking, which has been likened to higher-grade Dragonwell, and for good reason- this tea is made from the same Longjing #43 varietal as they are made from!
