Harvested and pressed by Chawangpu in the spring of 2015 and the autumn of 2015 respectively, this tea was made from material gathered from two Menghai gardens of trees aged 60-120 years.
The cakes are entirely handmade and pressed using traditional methods. The flavor is penetrative and uplifting, with abundant cha qi and a little bitterness that fades after several steeps. A very nice puerh tea, this is the best currently on offer from Sparrowtail. Enjoy!
