Premium Roasted Tie Guan Yin

A high-quality roasted version of the famous Tie Guan Yin, from Anxi County, Fujian Province. 

This tea is medium roasted, with the silky flavor and floral aroma which are considered hallmarks of a quality Tie Guan Yin, and added boldness and intensity derived from the roasting. Roasting Tie Guan Yin was part of the standard style of processing until just a few decades ago, when the lightly oxidized green style of TGY production started to overtake it in popularity. These days, it's harder to find higher quality roasted versions of the famed tea, though we have with this one, and at an affordable price to boot.
