Premium Light Jin Guan Yin Anxi Oolong Tea

Jin Guan Yin isn't actually a varietal of its own, but is the result of grafting a Tie Guan Yin varietal plant onto a Huang Dan varietal root. This process gives the resultant tea more of a decidedly floral flavor, while retaining some of Tie Guan Yin's robustness.

Our premium unroasted (jade) Jin Guan Yin was grown by the Lam family of tea growers in Xiping, Anxi County, Fujian Province, at 800 meters above sea level. Its taste has the same fresh, mouthwatering quality as our Premium Light Tie Guan Yin, but with an enhanced florality, and somewhat more noticeable hui gan.
