A medium roasted version of this popular Taiwan oolong, grown in Nantau, Taiwan at 1100 meters above sea level.
With it being a medium roast at about 40% oxidation, this tea has a more pronounced fruity character than heavier roasted versions, and is more infuseable than certain other rolled oolongs, like for example Tie Guan Yin.
It can be brewed gongfu style, using 7-8 grams with very short steeps starting at around 7 seconds, or brewed for longer, using just 3g of tea for 2-3 minutes.
Certified Organic to USDA and EU standards
Altogether a very nice tea. Its compelling flavor and affordable price make it an excellent introduction to the world of Taiwanese teas!
