Organic Gu Zhang Mao Jian is an exquisite, delicious green tea produced in Xi Liu Mo village in Guzhang county, Hunan Province, at 800 meters elevation.
It's harvested before the Qingming rains and consists of a large proportion of single tender shoots alongside top shoot and leaf pairs.
The flavor is a delicate fruit and rose, with an appealing and light softness. Its appearance is like wispy dark green pine needles, which turn a pale yellow-green when brewed.
It is recommended to brew this at the lower end of the 170-180f range, perhaps even experimenting with some 160-165f steeps.
