Ya Shi Xiang "Duckshit" Dancong Oolong Tea, Winter 2020
A classic tea among Dancong style of oolongs, Ya Shi Xiang has long been a crowd pleaser with its floral aroma and floral/fruity/sweet taste.
This version was harvested during the area's "snow harvest" of 2020, which starts in late October and continues into December, depending on the tea and the altitude in which it grows. It's subtly different than the spring harvested version of the tea in ways that are difficult to articulate, besides apparently having undergone a shorter roasting period.
