Gushu Moonlight Aged White Tea

Regular price $9.00 Sale

Harvested in spring 2016 from a remote high mountain garden in Xiao, Jinggu County, Yunnan from 100-150 year old trees, then aged in the town of Jinggu after withering and drying. This aging removed the "hay-like" taste of the tea, giving it an easy to drink sweetness with overtones of spice.

This is a very infuseable tea, capable of being brewed repeatedly at higher temperatures. It can also be steeped for quite a long time without any bitterness. It will at first brew up a deep reddish orange, which darkens after further infusions, eventually taking on a similar appearance to a rich black tea.
