Made from naturally growing old trees of 100-300 years in a pristine forested environment in the area of Lincang, Yunnan, this is a richly flavored black tea that yields a robust caramel and cane sweetness in its brew, with a complexity that unravels over the course of several steeps. Although not certified organic, no pesticides or fertilizers are used in its production.
In many ways comparable to our Gushu Hong black tea but at a lower price, this is a very high quality tea in Yunnan's famed Dian Hong style.
We recommend brewing this at 190-200f. Spring 2019 harvest.
